Mom's house

Adam's Mom called me today, at about 3:45. She was in her usual first-day-of-school panic that Adam wasn't home yet. While waiting, she told me that Adam had tired to pull one over on her this morning. When she came in to get him up, he said to her, "Oh, my head hurts, I don't feel so good, No school?"

Sorry kiddo, that one only works when your temp is over 100 - your mom's a nurse!

He did eventually get home, but it was nice chatting with her again.
